Former President Roh Moo-hyun

The former president jumped to his death yesterday morning. Rob Ouwehand has a nice post over at The Hub of Sparkle. Here's a link to the latest Korea Times.
Mr. Roh was under investigation for bribery, as were his brother and wife. Apparently the pressure was too much for him. Before he left office, he arranged a meeting with Kim Jong-il, dictator of North Korea. I was pretty excited about this, as no meeting had occurred between north and south for 7 years. My co-worker, however, made a face when I talked about it. Mr. Roh had been impeached, but, like Clinton, stayed in office. He was not a well-liked president.
His death is shocking and sad.
